Other wedding speeches

The Father of the Bride is, of course, traditionally expected to make a speech at the wedding. However, it is becoming increasingly common for the Chief Bridesmaid / Maid of Honour – and sometimes the Bride – to speak too.

Although the epxectations for these speeches are slightly different, the same rules apply as for all good speeches: having the right length, pace and structure. And, yes, a good helping of appropriate humour.
